Christopher Dake
With 25 years of nonprofit management experience, I provide leadership and strategic counseling to numerous social impact organizations. I design, implement, and direct all fundraising organization areas, including gift request strategies, prospect research, board engagement, volunteer management, and planned giving, leading to successful outcomes.
I am a member of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners and the National Capital Gift Planning Council. I consistently write articles on fundraising topics, primarily focused on planned giving and board governance.
When I’m not working, I’m deeply committed to reading and writing about United States history. I also like to improve my swing, whether it’s with a bat or a golf club. I reside in Washington, DC, with my wife and dog and recently became a dual citizen of Ireland.
